Margarita Ball

Well Saturday was the 13th Annual Margarita Ball. It is one of the biggest social events in Huntsville. Everyone dresses up in ball gowns and brings toys for underprivileged kids. We brought a Hot Wheels race track (I think Michael wanted to keep it!) and the Enchanted Forest Barbie set (which really did make me want to play with all the Barbies!) Last year there were over $178,000 worth of gifts donated and I think even more was donated this year! It was fantastic! The Margarita Society (not really sure about the name) is a society of really important people in Huntsville that throw all kind of functions but this is the most glamorous and it is all for charity. Michael was my date and we went with Anna Claire and her fantastic husband Jeff. We danced the night away and I got to see some of my old co-workers. It was so much fun! Check out the pics!

Michael turns the big 2-4!

Michael's birthday was on Thursday, November 13th. He turned 24! I hosted a surprise birthday party at Carrabas Italian Restaurant (our most favorite!) Michael's parents & brother attended as well as my parents. I also invited two of his good friends Alan (and his new bride) and John. Michael thought we were just going to have a quite celebration alone but much to his surprise he had a party! His parents gave him an ipod, my parents got him binoculars and I gave him a remote control Hummer (yes, I know, Michael is just one big kid!) Anyways, on Friday night I took him to see the new James Bond movie with another couple. It was so much fun! We got all dressed up and had cocktails in the VIP lounge! Swanky! All in all it was a great birthday and I think Michael really enjoyed it!
