Valentine's Day!

I made these cupcakes for the church group I teach, some for the roomate & her boyfriend, a few for me and a few for my parents....needless to say, there were a lot of cupcakes. :)
I made Valentines for all my loves!
I also made a "Don't worry about being single on V Day" Kit! My friend is going through her first Valentine's day alone after a tough breakup and I found some really cute stuff...

Love Tea (to warm her heart)
Love Listography (a book you fill in with answers like best kiss, worst date, cheesy pickup lines....its super cute and it's at Books A Million!)
A new leather journal with "Romeo, Oh Romeo, Where for art thou Romeo?" burned on the front.
Chocolate Covered LOVE Fortune Cookies! (her fortunes are below)
And everything was tucked in the cutest love bird bag ever from my favorite store ever, TJ Maxx!
Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day!
I thought this was too cute to not post!
"I don't understand why Cupid was chosen to represent Valentine's Day. When I think about romance, the last thing on my mind is a short, chubby toddler coming at me with a weapon." ~Unknown

My Birthday!

As it so happens, my birthday fell on a Monday this year. That Monday happened to be President's Day which is recognized for the very first year as a paid holiday! Whoo-hoo!
After sleeping in all morning I headed to Massage Envy to get a full body massage, it was heavenly! I even snapped a photo of the room! After an afternoon of pampering myself I headed over to the parent's house for some cake, presents, and a lovely steak dinner at Firebirds. My mom made me the refurbished picnic basket which was of course stuffed full of goodies and she even made her first fondant cake! I think she did a fabulous job! My Dad got me the bag I have been wanting for work! I am so excited, the picture doesn't do it justice! It is being shipped now and I cannot wait for it to get here!
