Life is good...

Life is pretty good right now! Football is in full swing and we all know how much I LOVE Football. The new job is AWESOME! I really do love it! My puppies are about the cutest things I have ever seen. My boyfriend is by far the best man I have ever met (next to my daddy). Mom and Dad are kicking it retirement style (but not for long!) Joey is rocking it down in Ttown and I have officially begun looking for a new place to live. I really want to rent a house here in Huntsville with a fence for the puppies and two bedrooms so I can have an office to work out of. Oh and the new Jeep is fabulous! Fashionably Late is going well also, our next meeting is Thursday. I am also working on starting a branch in Birmingham. A girl is really interested in getting things going so we are working out the details! In addition we are participating in a Fashion Show October 2nd!

All in all I do not think life could be any sweeter!

A moment to breathe

Well I have accepted a new job to become a pharmaceutical field representative. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I was shipped a box of textbooks with a schedule. For the past week and a half I have studied everyday three textbooks, several case studies, pharmacological information, specific PIs, and numerous articles linking drugs to efficacy rates and effects. Overload is an understatement. If on any test you do not pass with a 90 or better you are dismissed from the program and the job offer is retracted. Stressful huh? Well I had my fist test, a 98!!!! Ecstatic could not describe it. I have been admitted to the training in Atlanta for two solid weeks. No puppies, no Michael, no sleeping...just studying! Whoo-hoo!

Fashionably Late & a Bride to be...

Well on Saturday I went to Nashville for some shopping (for suits....not my favorite) & a bridal shower. Tiffany is getting married in August and some of her close friends threw her very first shower. She was definitely showered with gifts, and we played some really cute games! Also, the food was awesome and topped with adorable little cupcakes! Congrats Tiffany & Paul!

On Thursday night, our club, Fashionably Late, met at the Scene at Monaco. We had a great turnout! It was just lovely! We had the patio reserved and after the sun went down it was picturesque. The theme was sensational shoes, and sensational they were! The winner was a newbie in bright blue suede stilettos and she won by a landslide!

My new fabulous job!

After several long weeks of phone interviews, ride alongs, more interviews, sales pitches and massive amounts of prayer and worry I have gotten what I have been working for! I am the new Huntsville Pharmacetical Sales Rep for Diabetes and Cardiovascular drugs!!!! I think it is a great career move because the company talked a lot about career advancement. The company was founded in 1992 so it is fairly new in the market, but that is what I was attracted too. The job starts on July 21st! My last day with the Huntsville Times is next Friday. I have already turned in my notice and the people at work have been nothing but fabulous. Every time I turn around someone is saying congratulations or way to go! I am so excited about my new journey and the opportunties that lie in front of me. I prayed so hard about the job, if was right, if it would make me happy and ultimately I had to put it in God's hands, it was his choice and I could not be more pleased or proud of my accomplishment. I was choosen out of 152 applicants for the job. It was a long, hard process but I could not be more happy with the results and this very happy feeling!!!!

I am so blessed....

Father's day was pretty much picture perfect! We started the weekend off at my parent's house. We had a steak dinner prepared by Mom and Joey....soooo yummy. Then we sat in the hot tub, watch Semi-Pro (so so bad! do not watch!) and had chocolate cake. It was fantastic, I got dad a navigation system and Michael gave him a navigation case! We chatted and just really enjoyed the pretty summer evening. We woke up early and drove to Florence. We layed out by the pool all day and went shopping! Michael took me to the local BBQ spot, Jad's. Extra delicious! When Michael's dad got off work we gave him his presents. I got him the most awesome shirt in history and Michael got him some Clint Eastwood movies and the John Adams DVD set. All in all the greatest weekend filled with summer evenings and laying out by the pool!
On another note Michael's ER scare has passed. He is good as new! He said today that he has never felt better. That was an experience I need not relive ever again!

Tiffany's wedding is on schedule, I bought my dress this week! It is so cute, I think everyone is going to look beautiful. I am excited because I found out that Michael is going to walk me down the aisle. We are all anticpating the throw down in North Carolina! The wedding will be at the Biltmore, if you have not seen pictures you have to check it out, it will be at the Deerpark Restaurant. http://www.biltmore.com/weddings/locations/deerpark.asp

I am also excited because if my Journey tickets do not sell on Ebay, I am going on August 8th to the concert in Nashville. I am going to be front row of the level off the floor.

I truly feel that I am so blessed these days, I have a wonderful boyfriend, two of the cutest puppies in the whole world and the greatest parents a girl could ask for! I can't say anything bad about my future in-laws either, they just brought me back a Coach bag back from New York! They treat me just like I am one of their own! I am sitting on the horizon of a lot of great things so stay tuned to all my new adventures!!!!

The Perfect Weekend

Friday was our two year anniversary! We decided to not get gifts for each other and just go out to eat together. Once Michael got off work we headed to Carrabas for some delicous food! We had our favorite, calamari! We really enjoyed just getting to relax and eat a nice meal together. After dinner we rented, National Treasure 2. We had a lovely evening.

Saturday night was also really fun. A couple of friends invited us over to grill out. We sat outside and grilled hot dogs and hamburgers. It was really nice to grill, living in an apartment we do not ever get that opportunity. It was a beautiful night with fireflys buzzing around. We played Scrabble and Aggravation! Michael won both games. I made my Mom's recipe for potato salad and tried out a new recipe for yummy key lime tarts!

Today is even better. Michael and I love Law and Order SVU and currently there is a marathon going on!

Could this weekend be perfect? If not it is really really close!
