It is an Alabama Halloween!

Well Alabama is 8-0 so what is more appropriate than an ALABAMA Pumpkin?! Michael and I got into the Halloween Spirit tonight by carving our Alabama Pumpkin and making our Halloween costumes. We even got the puppies in on the action. Mr. Biggs wore an Alabama Hat and Bo was a pirate! Arghhh! Check out the adorable pictures, after Friday I will post pics of our Halloween costumes!

Life is crazy!

Well, I know I have not been doing a good job lately of posting so I guess I will fill you in!

It has been a crazy month, first let me start by saying is it really October??? Agh, the time just flys by! Anyways, football is in full swing 7-0 Baby!!! Wheew! There were some close ones! Michael and I got in late last night from all the festivities in Tuscaloosa. I told Michael on the way in, I love coming to Tuscaloosa but golly I LOVE leaving! The traffic was horrible coming home but we did get a chance to make a pit stop at Qdoba (our most favorite burrito restaurant in the planet!) We got in at around 9:30 last night. Tomorrow we get to pick up Maggie, Michael's mom's dog to puppy sit while she is in Birmingham, we are both so excited!

Today was the best day! Michael and I went shopping! He is the biggest gentleman. He did not complain not even a sigh one time today! He opened every door, carried every bag, even the clothes while I walked around the stores, we had a great time debating if I should get it or throw it back. Then here is the topper, he let me shop for him! He tried on clothes and searched through racks of clothing for hours and secretly I think he enjoyed it! I bought a suit, a pair of jeans, and 5 shirts for work. Michael bought a couple of shirts, a sweater, a sweater vest, and a pair of Khakis, ALL on SALE! So exciting! After the day of extremely fun shopping I took us out to eat at Carrabba's, our favorite restaurant. I even got Michael his favorite dessert, Cheesecake. YUMMY!

On the note of bragging about Michael, he has formally accepted a scholarship from UAH!!!!!! PLUS, if that wasn't enough he is up for an internship with al.com! He is just fantastic and now everyone else is starting to notice that!

Well I guess that is enough into our personal lives for now!

Life is good...

Life is pretty good right now! Football is in full swing and we all know how much I LOVE Football. The new job is AWESOME! I really do love it! My puppies are about the cutest things I have ever seen. My boyfriend is by far the best man I have ever met (next to my daddy). Mom and Dad are kicking it retirement style (but not for long!) Joey is rocking it down in Ttown and I have officially begun looking for a new place to live. I really want to rent a house here in Huntsville with a fence for the puppies and two bedrooms so I can have an office to work out of. Oh and the new Jeep is fabulous! Fashionably Late is going well also, our next meeting is Thursday. I am also working on starting a branch in Birmingham. A girl is really interested in getting things going so we are working out the details! In addition we are participating in a Fashion Show October 2nd!

All in all I do not think life could be any sweeter!

A moment to breathe

Well I have accepted a new job to become a pharmaceutical field representative. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I was shipped a box of textbooks with a schedule. For the past week and a half I have studied everyday three textbooks, several case studies, pharmacological information, specific PIs, and numerous articles linking drugs to efficacy rates and effects. Overload is an understatement. If on any test you do not pass with a 90 or better you are dismissed from the program and the job offer is retracted. Stressful huh? Well I had my fist test, a 98!!!! Ecstatic could not describe it. I have been admitted to the training in Atlanta for two solid weeks. No puppies, no Michael, no sleeping...just studying! Whoo-hoo!

Fashionably Late & a Bride to be...

Well on Saturday I went to Nashville for some shopping (for suits....not my favorite) & a bridal shower. Tiffany is getting married in August and some of her close friends threw her very first shower. She was definitely showered with gifts, and we played some really cute games! Also, the food was awesome and topped with adorable little cupcakes! Congrats Tiffany & Paul!

On Thursday night, our club, Fashionably Late, met at the Scene at Monaco. We had a great turnout! It was just lovely! We had the patio reserved and after the sun went down it was picturesque. The theme was sensational shoes, and sensational they were! The winner was a newbie in bright blue suede stilettos and she won by a landslide!

My new fabulous job!

After several long weeks of phone interviews, ride alongs, more interviews, sales pitches and massive amounts of prayer and worry I have gotten what I have been working for! I am the new Huntsville Pharmacetical Sales Rep for Diabetes and Cardiovascular drugs!!!! I think it is a great career move because the company talked a lot about career advancement. The company was founded in 1992 so it is fairly new in the market, but that is what I was attracted too. The job starts on July 21st! My last day with the Huntsville Times is next Friday. I have already turned in my notice and the people at work have been nothing but fabulous. Every time I turn around someone is saying congratulations or way to go! I am so excited about my new journey and the opportunties that lie in front of me. I prayed so hard about the job, if was right, if it would make me happy and ultimately I had to put it in God's hands, it was his choice and I could not be more pleased or proud of my accomplishment. I was choosen out of 152 applicants for the job. It was a long, hard process but I could not be more happy with the results and this very happy feeling!!!!
