We decided to spend a night in and grill out! We had cheeseburgers, potato salad, broccoli salad, mac n cheese and Reese's cake dessert! Yum!

Joey moves to Atlanta!

Joey has officially begun his first job after college working for Sun Trust in downtown Atlanta!! He started on Monday and like a good sis I took him 4 bags of groceries and some monogramed towels! He has the cutest apartment in Buckhead and has the most awesome patio view overlooking the pool! We had a blast running around Buckhead and hanging out together as two official adults in the real world! I am so proud of my lil bro!!

Rookie of the Year and a Promotion!!

Well I completely forgot to post about the big news with my career! In January I was awarded 2009 Rookie of the Year for the pharmaceutical company I work for but what that ultimately lead to was a promotion! I am now officially a Professional Pharmaceutical Representative instead of an Associate Representative. I got a raise, new title, bonus and some much appreciated recognition!!! I was even in the company newsletter!! (the picture above is me accepting my award and I am about to shake the President's hand!)

4th of July Weekend

The 4th of July weekend was filled with fun, family and fireworks. On July 3rd I headed home to Birmingham for our Family reunion hosted by my Mom and Dad. It was so great seeing all the extended family! I was especially happy because my favorite cousins got to join us! They have been stationed in Germany and are home for the time being and I was so glad to get to spend some time with them and their kids!!!! We had food, a slip n slide, water ballons, water guns, the golf carts and a whole lot of love filling out the day. After the family time I headed back to Huntsville but to my dismay it ended up being a nightmare! I left at 7:30 pm from Birmingham and because of a tractor trailer flipping I sat at a dead stop for over 3 hours on I-65N I didn't get home until 12:40am!!

Ladies Poker Night

Ladies Poker Night was held Thursday night at my apartment! I just redecorated so it was the perfect time to host a small get together. I had Catherine and her sister Ginny in from Birmingham staying with me, Tory who I recently reconnected with (we met in 4th grade and now both of us live in Huntsville!!) and Brenna who just moved to Huntsville two weeks ago. It was an evening filled with girl chat, gossip, and of course a little poker!
