Birthdays!

My brother, Aimee and myself all have birthdays within the same week so we had a lot to celebrate! Aimee turned the big 21 last Friday. She was so excited! I bought her a crown and sash for the big night that said, "Birthday Girl" I also got her the famous Gigi's Cupcakes to celebrate. That Sunday my family as well as Aimee's got together for a group birthday brunch at The Cheesecake Factory! It was so yummy! We all exchanged gifts and had a lot of laughs!

Her roommates made her this adorable martini shaped sign that was listed with several things she had to do throughout the night, it was a fun scavenger hunt!

I got Aimee a beach towel (monogrammed with her name, of course); a Vera Bradley bag, and every travel size item in Target for their Spring Break Cruise this weekend!

I got Joey a pink pin striped Polo Shirt and all the travel size items for Boys at Target for their cruise!

My 25th Birthday Weekend!

My 25th birthday was this past Sunday, February 21st. I decided to head down Friday night to Tuscaloosa to celebrate my second to last night of being 24. I met up with my brother, Joey and his girlfriend, Aimee, for dinner and a night on the town!

We met up with several of their friends downtown and I ran into an old friend. Callie and I were like sisters growing up and have known each other since the 6th grade. It was so wonderful hearing about where her life had taken her and reminiscing about the good old days of high school! So much fun, what a lovely surprise!

After a full evening of feeling way to old to be in a college town I headed up to Birmingham to meet all my friends at Surin West for my birthday party. After a delicious dinner and a lot of good laughs we all headed downtown to the Blue Monkey and then Rare Martini. I had such a blast with everyone and even got to see two of my college friends, Cat and Steve. We all had a lot of fun!

Winter Wonderland!

Friday I had to take a snow day from work because North Alabama turned into a winter wonderland! It was so much fun playing in the snow!

John Mayer Concert

Tuesday night, John Mayer came to Birmingham, AL at the BJCC. My girlfriends and several friends wound up going and we had a blast. We all met after the concert to hang out and I stayed in Birmingham with Kendall! We had so much fun! If you haven't gotten his new CD "Battle Studies" you should run out and get it! LOVE LOVE LOVE JM!!

The two girls below sat next to us and they wrote John a letter, they went down to the floor to give it to him and almost made it but a bouncer stopped them! It was so cute I had to take a picture!!

Las Vegas

Sciele, the pharmaceutical company I work for has an annual National Sales Meeting and this year it was in Las Vegas, NV!

The first night was awards night and I was honored with the Rookie of the Year award. I was chosen as the highest sales for the Primary Care Diabetes Division and got a crystal award and I got to go on stage in front of all 900 employees and except it from the president, CCO, CFO, and all the other big wigs! I was in shock because it was so unexpected! It was so neat because the rest of the trip I would walk down the hall and complete strangers would be telling me congratulations! It was the first award I have won since college and it was by far one of the highlights of my professional career! I am beyond thrilled!!

The next few days were spent going over extensive data and reports as well as never ending seminars. It may have been in Las Vegas but I didn't step outside the conference rooms until Wednesday night! I learned a lot and I am so ready to get cracking on President's Club 2010! This year it is in Bermuda! I WANT IT!!!! Winning awards feels too good to not go all the way next year!

Thursday, the NSM came to a close and I decided to stay two extra nights with two of my girlfriends! We had so much fun! We went down to old Vegas, rode in a limo (my first time!), gambled, danced, ate fantastic sushi, saw the water show at the Bellagio, went shopping at all the high end stores, got all glammed up (makeover thanks to Kelly!) and even got to go see most of the casinos. I figured out very quickly I am a complete tight wad. I only gambled $20 the whole week. I would rather buy shoes, which I did (only 3 pairs!) I headed home on Saturday and spent the entire day flying from Las Vegas to Memphis to Huntsville. It is so good to be home with my precious pug!! I have been to Vegas and it was great but I think I have had enough for a very long time.

New Year's Eve!

After a horrible week I truly needed a night on the town with the ladies! We went to Above, in downtown Birmingham, AL. We had a wonderful time, I got to meet one of my friends and her husband at their house, who introduced me to her girlfriends and we went out to countdown the evening until midnight. It was so much fun! I started the night off by going to dinner with my parents at Olive Garden where we ran into my cousin and his wife ( who was lovely!) It was a night to remember! Happy New Year!
