Spring Cleaning and my first time cooking crab!

Well yesterday I had the itch for some spring cleaning. Once I finished I decided it was time for a new bedspread and sheets to match. I found this at TJ Maxx and I am so excited! It even came with boudoir pillows and a neckroll! Gotta love finding great deals! Now I am on the hunt for new lampshades to match the new bedding.

I also picked up some new place mats and rearranged some of the furniture in the dining area to make our new apartment a little more delicate and a little less white walls! Take a look!

Well, Publix had a special on Crab Legs so I bought some of those and decided to cook them with baked potatoes and asparagus with Hollandase Sauce! Yum Yum!
It turned out great!

Whoa slow down!

Well today was quite eventful. I woke up this morning on my way to my Tuesday appointment at 8:30 (which means i get to sleep an extra 15 mins in...hold the train!) so I was excited that it was the second Tuesday in my rotation. Got to see Dr. Creech and went on with my merry day. Normal, saw the same pharm reps and went on to my lunch with Dr. Varquez in Cullman, told me she had written some Fenoglide (my cardio drug I sell) this morning and I was so pumped. Got in my car to check my phone and Matthew was calling. Answered chipper than ever (b/c it was 73 and SUNNY...YAY!) and come to find out that my RSM (Regional Sales Manager aka my bosses boss) has been fired, oh and did I mention my boss got fired last week!!!!!!! Needless to say, I spiraled no not spiraled, spun out of control because you know what that means. The new CFO Joe is cleaning house. Which means my job could possibly have a realignment or even worse LAYOFFS! Now I am sure that I need to keep my fingers crossed and say several prayers because I DO NOT WANT TO BE UNEMPLOYED! Gossip says the restructure will come in June. PLEASE pray for my job because Lord knows he has been hearing my prayers today! BUT above all else that is just the gossip mill, it could mean they were bad at there job and will just fill there positions or it could mean that new CFO, Joe, is a very scary man!

New Project

I saw this when I was in Nashville, TN a few weekends back and I am sold on this genius idea! It is a "Jewelry Frame Organizer". The knobs hold the necklaces/braclets and the flaps on the top are where you can pin or clip in your earrings. So cute! It is a picture frame with a cork board attached and it is personalized for your liking. You can pick different knobs, fabric, and these adorable fabric covered push pins (for your rings or a way to tack up notes). Sold for $65 I think I can make my own for around $20!

My first Italian Dinner

Michael and I love Carrabbas Restaurant so tonight I decided to save some cash and cook the meal at my new apartment. It took me 2 1/2 hours plus a grocery run(oh how I love love love Publix!)

I made the Italian bread spice mix for dipping the bread, "Pasta Carrabba", & "Spedino Di Mare".

All I can say is that I did a lot of work that turned out really nice but still needs tweaking. Here are some pics below!

Follow up on Scrapbook Paper decorating!

I wanted to follow up with instructions on the scrapbook paper decorating!

Scrapbook paper can also be used to decorate around the house.

The above wall art can easily be created by using 12x12 inch Styrofoam Brand Foam Squares and covering it with scrapbook paper of your choice. At less than $5/sq, this is a really inexpensive way to transform a room in your house. They can be found at any craft store.
The Styrofoam Brand Foam also comes in 3" cubes that can be also be wrapped in scrapbook paper and used as vases.
